So I've decided to quit recapping my trip because frankly, it was a quite tedious process that I came to hate. Nevertheless, I still stand by my need to get out of this so-called reality: get away from certain people, get away from work, etc... It was just so damn great, being out on the highway, recognizing "the Shield" (as in, the Canadian Shield) and watching the farms pass us by.

But alas, we come back to the cold weather, and in some bizarre poetic form, it's a reflection upon the way we all felt as we crashed back into reality. But enough rambling on about all that crap, because nobody wants to hear it and I'm sick of myself complaining about how things can be so shitty when I've got good things sitting right in front of me.

Speaking of good times...

Tonight, we mourn Uttara's basement ceiling: a panel of which came crashing down in a struggle of strength between it and water from the upstairs washing machine. In the end, the ceiling horribly lost in a tragic, sad, and yet, funny, collapse that resulted in several screams of terror and facial expressions that can only be described as "taken aback".

Poor ceiling panel, you will be missed.
